Happy 15th Anniversary to Wishesland!

Thanks, God, for your blessings to Wishesland and its children for the past 15 years. It is with your blessings that Wishesland can continue to blossom, set up branches in Miri, Sibu and Selangor, and our children become better and better day by day. After attended a series of rehabilitation programmes, some of our children finally can walk by themselves and some are in the process of looking for job opportunities. This is indeed the greatest news of all for all of us in Wishesland.

We are so thankful to Sarawak government for your trust in Wishesland in healing cerebral palsy children in Sarawak. We are so grateful that Sarawak government has given us its quarters in Kuching and Miri as our operation centre. Besides giving us a place to operate, Wishesland also received both government grant and other support such as training and seminar from Ministry of Women, Early Childhood and Community Wellbeing Development Sarawak and Department of Social Welfare Sarawak.

To our parents, we are deeply touched by your act in sending your children to Wishesland for immediate treatment. Your undivided support to Wishesland and determination in keep sending your children to undergo many rehabilitation programmes have shown significant results where many of our children have improved significantly. Let’s continue our quest to believe that our children would one day be able to live independently.

We would like to applaud our dedicated staff where they devoted their time and effort to ensure our children are going through the right interventions programmes and follow up follow through with the parents in an interval period. All our parents commented that our staff are very knowledgeable, professional and skilful in handling their children. This is what we want to see where our children deserved receiving the best for both physiotherapy and equipment.

One of the factors that Wishesland could sustained until today is the strong support from our loyal supporters and volunteers Wisheslanders. Whenever we need help either financially or in kinds, there will be someone will show up to render their help, some came from as far as West Malaysia and some came from as near as the neighbouring business or support us. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Many government departments, universities, colleges, schools, private companies, NGOs and individuals within our reach to help us in cleaning our compound or becoming volunteers in our activities or events. This clearly show that Malaysia truly is a country where its citizen are full of love and passion with common objective of building a caring and loving society.

As we have grown from 1 centre in Kuching into 4 centres across Malaysia, and the expectation from the parents are getting higher, we will continue to work with relevant parties to further improve our existing rehabilitation programmes, equipment and sharpening the skills and knowledge of our staff.

We will continue to strive for excellence in line with our objectives of providing a world class rehabilitation programme to our children.

With God’s blessing and support from all parties, we believe we will achieve it.
